My name is Kate Potter, and I'm a certified life & health coach and personal trainer based near Princeton, New Jersey. I specialize in behavior change and believe that the core of any change is making the choice to do it out of love for ourselves. As someone with chronic illness who has made the journey from self-loathing and being significantly overweight, to loving life and being at a healthy weight, I know from personal experience what it can take to create the motivation to redefine how we see ourselves. My goal is to bring my you to a place of self-love, self-confidence, and feeling free from the judgements and stories we tell ourselves.
I know taking the leap into transforming how we see and treat ourselves can be one of the hardest things ever. We get so used to living a certain way, that it's hard to imagine life any different.
But I promise you, there is another way to do this thing called "life." You can love your body without diet culture, or comparing it to an edited Instagram model. You are enough, you are beautiful, and you are worthy of feeling that way.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific transitions in your personal life, relationships, or goals by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.
We will create a unique program for you that will be in line with you fitness goals. I will also focus on nutrition education, exercise science, and behavior change. A combination of strategic exercises and a healthy diet will have you feeling more at home in your body.
HEALTH & BODY RELATIONSHIP COACHING
Similar to Life Coaching, Health Coaching is a designed alliance between coach and client where the coaching relationship continually gives all the power of your health back to you. I believe that you know the answers to every question or challenge you may have in your life, even if those answers appear to be obscured, concealed or hidden inside. I will work with you to create long-lasting change regarding your health and your relationship to your body.
